A sample of Initial Teacher Training Providers

The head of the independent school will contact the training provider to establish qualification routes - not the potential trainee.

There are over 900 initial teacher training (ITT) providers offering teacher training. Providers are accredited by National College of Teaching and Leadership. They could be a consortium of schools, a teaching school or a training company. Here is a sample of ITT Providers that work with independent schools: this is not a comprehensive list. If you are an ITT Provider already working with independent schools and would like to be listed here then please contact us.

HMC schools may wish to consider the HMC Teacher Training programme. More information is available at www.hmcteachertraining.org.uk.
